Getting ready for paint and Super Celebration

I got my grand paw's Bronco running last April and since then I've come a long way. This site, along with Nashville Early Bronco have been a huge help along the way. I learned about Super Celebration back in June and I made it my goal to be able to drive the 4 hour trip this April. So far, I've replaced the floor pans, installed a 1 in body lift, converted to power disc and rebuilt the front suspension. I pulled the Engine(65k original miles), re-sealed it with new gaskets and installed a new intake and carb and clutch. I got the exhaust ran about a month ago and I've been driving every chance I get, to work out the bugs. I'm on the home stretch and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. BTW, I'm going back to the factory Swiss Aqua paint.

Looking good, glad you set out to drive and enjoy as opposed to ripping it down to every nut and bolt and in 3 years later it still setting in your garage. Good luck and hope you get the super celebration.

When I set out on this journey I didn’t know what direction I was going to take as far as the depth of the build. I’m glad I decided to just get it running and reliable instead of tearing it down to the frame. There’s nothing wrong with the frame off restorations, but I want a functional rig that I can drive on some trails and not have to worry.
