I have some nylon caps on mine that have been on there for over five years and they are still going strong. They are multi colored but they seem to last

I have the same issue with the rubber caps. I'll pick up some nylon. Too bad they don't make them in black.

Those different colored ones from O'reillys and autozone are junk. I picked up some a couple years back from an auto repair place by me that are rubber and heavy duty, and have been holding up well, not sure where they got them, I will have to stop and ask.

I have tried the aftermarket ones, they rot. OEM from the junk yard seem to be better.

Have you tried high temp silicon rubber caps:
http://www.mcmaster.com/#push-on-caps/=ww3qcr

Im thinking of ordering some, my rubber ones are cracking.

They look good, wonder if you can spray them black? Don't care so much on the broncs,
but my dad and mine's cars see the shows often enough, would not want those red caps all over.

Right above those McMaster has the high temp vinyl and they are black. Looks like I can get 300
in 1/8, 1/4, and 3/8 for about $20. McMaster is about 20 minutes right down the highway from me too.

Sometimes I forget to look on their site, unless it is something weird I know no one else would have.
Their stuff is usually very high quality too............

I have tried the aftermarket ones, they rot. OEM from the junk yard seem to be better.

Starting to think that might be the way. May just grab every one I see on my next trip to the yard. ;D

I use the nylon ones from my local hardware store. They come yellow in color but I stopped caring about the color because they last.
