Well I'm going to make going hydroed my first mod to my 69. I know that there is a hundred threads probably on this but my dumb ass can't find it! Just want to know what vehicles would be my best bet to jerk the stuff out of? What's the average costy of doing a complete system?

Thanks,

John

The most common is the Astro hydroboost
The easiest to install is the mid 70's GM diesel pickup unit
slightly more difficult is the Lincoln unit
After that its pot luck

What makes the GM easier to install? Are they higher at the salvage yards?

I am curious about why this is easier too. I did the Astro 4 or 5 years ago & I did it in probably 5 hours, start to finish. I thought the Astro was pretty damn simple.
