Got my VIN today

The eight month wait is over. I started out as a 2 door Black Diamond, V6, Auto, Roof Rails, Tow, Mid Package and Squatch. With the Webasto fiasco, I switched to the 2 door Badlands, V6, Auto, Mid Package. After the further hard top issues, I switched to 4 Door Badlands, V6, Auto and High Package. Got my VIN number this morning and a build week of August 30th. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is not an approaching train.

I noticed today once the email reports started to show up, now that they kicked the 2 doors to the curb, the number of first day reservation, loaded 4 door Badlands that got vins today were incredible. All those items that supposedly were in low supply, now all the sudden they're not. Being a 2 door was the hold up it seems for thousands and thousands of orders.

YES, switched to 4 door and soft top from 2 door and hard top after seeing and sitting in a 4 door.

I just received my build date! Like others my four door Badlands order with both tops has turned into the soft top only. Build week is September 16th.

I should be at the front of the line when the hard top start getting into production with everyone switching to soft-tops.

My blend date is August 31st. My production number is 85846. My 1970's production number is 85550. Coincidence that they are 296 apart? Can't wait.
