Just found out today that my STC soft top will not be here in time for my Ouray , Co. trip the 21 of July. Does anybody know anybody that has got one , even a bad , that is for sale or rent? I swore I would never put the hardtop on again.

I don't know of anyone with a spare soft top, but I've got a hard top that you can borrow for your trip.

Have you called Jim? 972-286-4249 He may have one. I might could swing by and pick it up for ya one evening if he has one. It's up to you to arrange payment though, he doesn't do computers. ;D

Let me know if you want to borrow that hard top. 817-480-9783

If you want to run up to Grand Junction (little over 2 hours from Ouray) you can borrow mine. You'll need a top as it rains a lot in the afternoon down there. :p

Gummi Bear, thanks. Jim doesn't have one at this time. Keep your ears open for me. Have a perfectly good hard top just do not want to put it back on. If you know anyone needing a good hard top let me know.

GJBroncoMan, thanks for the offer. Hope I can do something before I go. I will stay in touch.

Throw something out on the LEBC list, maybe a kind soul will loan you one. If it's in Dallas, I can pick it up, and get it to Arlington for ya (~ an hour from your casa, sure beats driving to Dallas ;D )

Let me know if I can help, and take lots of pics on your trip!

Hey, I don't have a soft top you can use. I will be going to Ouray Aug. 8 though. Let me know how things are looking up there. Give me a chance to back out at the last min. if things are bad.

Things are never bad in Ouray, that's some of the most awesome scenic wheeling in the U.S. ;D Newby and cliffnbc, have you been to Ouray before? PM me your plans and maybe I'll run down for a day and show you the good trails & ghost towns.

Been to Ouray , Lake City , Silverton eight or nine years running now. Love it out there. Thank everone for help, offers, and contacts on my soft top issue. Called Wild Horses today , they had 15 Besttop Supertops in stock. Paid a little more for it , but I probably would have never ordered the STC if I new it was going to take three months to get it. I ordered it to use this year not next so I guess it is all in what it is worth to me. Cannot cancel my order for STC top, so if anyone would like it I will sell it for the mass buy price of $580.00. Let me know if you are interested and maybe they will at least change the shipping address. On the mass buy the shipping was free.

Glad you got a top...sucks about the STC.

Are you making the trip with the Sunray boys? I ask because I notice you are running their F/E, and a couple of them are making a road trip up there about the same time with some heeps - and then going on to Moab. I'm VERY tempted to meet them up there...

Doesn't get much better than that Silverton/Ouray/Telluride triangle, does it!?

Sounds like a fun trip. Someday, I'd like to take a group of guys from my neck o the woods to do the trails up there. Would need a guide. GJBM, you up for hosting a few of New Mesicans? ;D

Any time man, any time. (We moved back to CO from Albuturkey - east mountains actually - in '97.) We spend a lot of time around Ouray in the summer and know the whole area real well.

CoachBarnes , not acually going with the Sunray boys , but there is usually some of them up there every year we have gone. Try to hunt them down or meet them on the trails. Good bunch , bulletproof products. We will be there 22-29 of July PM me if you want to join in. This is our "family trip" , there are I think 43 of us counting the young ones , the more the merrier.
