Would an umbrella policy cover you if you are in Non-compliance with your insurance tho?? I have no idea as I also have a large umbrella due to business.
I used JC taylor and need to re-up it. Seems ok and about the same proce as others, but it seems more forgiving if you want to drive it more than just "to car shows"

I also have full coverage on everything. What I was trying to allude to was, if you're driving your vehicle outside of what Haggerty, or Grundy say are outside their coverage areas, let's say on a dirt trail for Haggerty, and yeah, even a National Park campground for Grundy. Does it allow full payment if something happens to you or a passenger side? Would your umbrella insurance cover you then??
I was with Grundy for the past 5 years and am shifting to State Farm in July 2025.
$100K agreed to value is $528 for the year with State Farm; Grundy was $585.
Only reason I'm leaving Grundy is that they do not refund $$ when you drop collision coverage during the the non-drivable NH months of Nov thru March.

I've been watching this thread.
I talked to my SF agent and he thought I could put classic car insurance on mine and it would be available all year but it sounded like it would be limited to parades, car shows, sunday drives. I could not drop the liability in the winter. I'm not sure there is a big enough savings that I would be interested in not being able to take it to the mountains for doing Bronco things. I'm not into super extreme stuff, but why pay insurance on it for 36 years to get denied when I might need it.
I only keep comprehensive in the non driving winter months... drop everything else, collision, uninsured motorist, towing, etc.
That saves me almost $200 on just the Bronco. Also that keeps the vehicle insured in case of a catastrophic home/garage event.
$200/vehicle adds up when you have a few classic and specialty cars that can't be driven in the salty, snowy northeast.
