What is the best was to make a near permanent seal for the bulkhead and half cab top?
Trying to air/water-tight seal as best as possible as there is no plan to remove the top after placement.

Not gonna work.
My buddy had the bulkhead rhino lined and the floor area is the most important to keep water out along with the top to windshield (The factory seal is not going to work with the terrible half-cab bodywork that was done in that area (all lumpy at the bolt hole areas section)

I had an issue with water piping in the cab from the junction where the bulkhead meets the bed. Got the idea to use silicone caulk there.
Laid a double bead of clear silicone caulk on the bed and rebolted the bed head down and it took care of all leaks. Only problem was that when I got ready to take the 1/2 cab off, the silicone had cured and it took a hammer and a drywall blade to get it loose from the bed.
Your experience may vary.

That is my plan. My buddy has no intention to remove the half cab.
Being the bulkhead and floor has been rhino lined and am going to use a mastic sealer and be done with it. Thanks for the great info everyone!!
