Firstly, happy 40th, Sue. I know you read my threads. I hope and know you and the boys will love your time with "Bertha the 40th Birthday Bronco."
For the rest of you. So far, it looks like I pulled it off!!! The boys gave my wonderful and beautiful inside and out in every way the birthday present she (I) has always wanted: a 1974 Bronco. Her 40th is July and this particular one was built July 1974, the same month she was born. The boys and I have been finishing her (the Bronco) in secret for the past few months and have it to her yesterday. She has very excited.
Thanks to you all who responded to my inquiries about how to get this beauty ready. She feels like a rock star... and the boys are so excited to give her something they have an interest in. They're already "discussing" who will get it when they get their licenses. I told them that if they could get the money to buy a subject, I would dedicate a year to each rebuilding it any way they were willing to.
