Happy B-Day HILDA ...

My EB "Hilda" turned 39 Years old this month !!!
aloooong time without PS and PB ...
( last year I got her disk brakes ) and For her benefit and mine I decided this year for PS !!!

She fought me every step ( part ) of the way ( she def. dose not like change !!! )
first with the pump bracket ( she got 302 w. 351 water pump ) !
2nd with the box and radiator clearance problems
3rd rag joint steering shaft and inner fender clearance problems
4th brake lines rubbing on custom steering shaft/u-joint
and last making out of 2 Pressure Hose 1 the would work !!
...... but finally today I got it all done inc new Tie rod / drag link !!!
cant wait untill tomorrow to add PS fluid and fire her up !!! ;D

UPDATE:
filled it up today with steering fluid and fired her up .
After hauling for about 2 min where Rogers words of wisdom cam to mind ( "the pump being noisy and all ") the pump settled in , is quiet and works like a charm !!!
No more torn shoulder for me ....
I CANT BELIEVE I HAVE NOT DONE THIS YEARS AGO !!!

I finally took mine for a test drive last weekend. Need to start the paint and body work now, but it was great to finally drive it again. The no power steering part sucks, that's my next upgrade after paint.

Hilda turned 40 ... !!!

her B-day gifts/upgrades this year !!

1, the cool looking yet sooo uncountable red seats are out !!

2, 4 point rollcage & tied to the windshild frame riser ..
(wy you ask ... oh sh*^t handels for J. )

3, new rocker panels

4, and new gears and lockers ! ( still looking ... 4.88 or 5:13 would be sweet !! )
