Hey guys, it's time again for me to get back with it and start the next project. I have been searching the internet for and alternative from sand blasting. There is soda blasting and acid dipping both have "pros" but also some bad "cons" too. But while I was searching the net I came across dry ice blasting/cleaning. I figured that was used more for industrial applications but I guess not. I was a video with the dry ice cleaning the paint off the a car. It was crazy on how fast it clean it over soda & sand blasting. The two huge advantages for dry ice it doesn't leave a anything behind. Once the dry ice blasting is done you can prime seal it right away with any prep work like sand, soda, acid, paint stripers, and/or DA sanding. It even removes grease and oil too and at the same time. It shouldn't warp the sheet metal like sand blasting because there is no heat.
Has anyone try this method on there bronco and what was the cost like compared to sand or soda? Does it really live up to what they claim???
