Has anyone bought the 4R70W kit by Gearstar?

Hey guys -

So I finally finished my engine 302/347 build and have it back in the bronco but the C4 is just not the most fun for a driver. Im looking at doing the install myself as I've done majority of everything else on my rig but where I draw the line is rebuilding transmissions etc haha. I was looking at this GearStar kit and was curious if anyone has ever used it or has any feedback on it. Link below:

Thanks!

Boy they charge for everything...

Given what one of the members here is going through with a blueprint engine, not getting the warm fuzzys from non local rebuilders.

How about buying a core from a local wreaking yard and have it rebuilt locally?

look at hughes transmission.

or like 904 bronco says, go to a napa parts counter, ask them who locally they would trust to rebuild a tranny.

Look at Fred Brown out of New York, his transmisssions are half of that price. I sent him my adapter and he sold me a core. Prices on his site are not current, but he will answer phone calls. Small shop. https://www.fbperformance.com/

Wow, yeah you should be able to do better anywhere else. I just built and installed my first 4R70W and love it but am into it for WAY less than that.
