Headlight bucket installation?

I'm installation new headlight adjustment screws and was wondering if there is a trick to getting these new pieces installed. I know that they simply plug/clip into the square openings in the grill, but there must be an easy way to do this. Also, should I install the headlight bucket onto the screws first, or should I hook up the spring first?

pete, i put a dab of lube on the contact surfaces and push them in alone. once in and locked in place install bucket then spring.
