How to set timing/install distributor? - 75 Bronco w/302

So I am doing work on my 1975 ford bronco and it looks like the distributor got removed without any marks or settings on it. What is the best/easiest way to reinstall it back onto the engine with the correct timing? It didn't have running problems before, but I dont see a way that has it set it there in a specific spot... looks like it is highly adjustable.

Thank you in advance!

The bottom of this caption explains how to install a distributor properly:

Near the top, there's an explanation of the 2 variations of the TFI-IV ignition system (most '86-96 F-series & Broncos); both of which fire as the PIP signal rises.

I got it idling pretty well and just tuned it in by ear so far. Ill see if I can find a timing light soon.

Also it is running so much better now than before. Not sure if that is due to timing adjustment or carb rebuild though.
