Hubcap restoration

My hubcaps are in decent condition with a few bumps and bruises. So I would like to freshen them up. My question relates to the reddish/pink parts that are a bit more done in. Has anyone tried to re-color those pieces back to something somewhat original? I did a search but came up empty but may not uses the correct keywords.

Thanks gents.

Here is what I did to mine. You know those red center pieces are removable and the vendors sell them.

I did not know they sold the caps. Will take a look. Yours look sharp, what exactly did you do if you don't mind me asking?

Very thorough cleaning with paint remover. Taped it off and painted the brushed nickel with rattle can. Then hand painted all of the black.

Thx... but they have spots that are not perfect. On the truck I dont think anyone will notice. I am actually thinking about trying to run the old style center knock off spinners. Like the ones on the old mustangs and corvettes.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction (expensive little suckers tho).

BoureeOne, your caps look pretty damn good to me given the all the dips and lips, etc... What type of black paint did you use?
