I have a saginaw pump with a single return. I got the thing prior to deciding for the hydroboost. I need another return to the reservoir.

Can I:

1. Tee off the return line? (easiest to do)
2. drill the reservoir, add a bulkhead fitting to create another return.

I would really like to avoid having to buy another pump as I know that I will run into issues with brackets and pulleys etc. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!!;D

That's basically what Ford did. This shows a C2 pump, but it would be the same for a Sag:

If you seal it up properly, this is the best move. Teeing into the other can create turbulence/foaming/noise.

Has anyone ever told you that you are a lifesaver?;D Well here it goes. YOU ARE A LIFE/BENJAMINS SAVER:cool:

So basically I will add a bulkhead fitting with an o-ring on each side and tighten it and Im good to go. Glad that I dont have to buy another pump

You could go to the boneyard and take the reservoir off of a 1 ton Chevy work truck w/hydroboost's pump (holds more fluid as well).......I paid $5 ;D--------Hans

add a port to the pump case. I used the port off an old fuel pump.

The tee works just fine and that is what Hydrotech recommends for their kits.
