Mustang hydroboost or other...? Could someone measure the length of the hydro/mc?

I am looking for an option that would keep me from having to move my entire pedal swing arm assbly under the dash another 5" towards the drivers side due to underhood clearance issues. Already moved it about 5" years ago.

I currently run and am extremely satisfied with the AstroVan hydro combination BUT if the Mustang or other system works just as great and is shorter... perfect!!

Could someone measure the length of hydro and m/c combination from firewall mounting surface to end of m/c (probably need height from centerline of piston to highest cap measurement also).

Sure appreciate it! This could save another full day of moving things under the dash...and we all enjoy neck cramps!!

thanks

Thanks 72 sport! That's a half inch too long! :-( I can't believe it --almost but not quite!

Can't you rotate something on the mounting portion of the mustang hydroboost and it gives the mount a slight angle?

I think with a four or 5° angle at the base I think it would miss my obstruction ..

Thanks agai!!

The stock mounting bracket has an 8 degree angle. Removing the locating would give you 8 degrees.

Thanks...I'll do some geometry and see if that will fit or if just like everything else on this project, I get to make another custom bracket! My wife gave me a T-shirt that has "Bracket Man" on the front above the pocket and on the back it's got an Elton John lyric saying... "it's gonna take a long, long time..."... lol what a sense of humor

Take the firewall mounting plate off the hydroboost unit, grind the locator key that is on the hole off, turn the plate 1/4 turn (clockwise if looking from the facing the firewall side aka the front) reassemble it and now it is angled away from the engine instead of up.
