First of all I want to thank everyone on this forum for helping me out since I first joined in February. I have spoken with so many of you and even got to run out and see some of your Broncos in person or at the Wild Horses Bronco Roundup in April.
Long story short I sold my 62 Suburban 4X4 to someone in Colorado so I can join everyone here and find a Bronco of my own. I went back and forth many times on a restored Bronco or having one built for me.
After a ton of research and direct help from Jim in San Jose and Mark Atherton at Beach City Broncos I finally found one that got its blessing from Mark.
I had a great conversation with BajaFresh75 (Chris) who sent over 30 photos to Mark. They even had a phone conversation about the Bronco before everything was finalized. I than got in contact directly with Mark who said I could not go wrong with the Bronco which settled any concerns. Chris and I settled on a very fair price and he even help organize with a shipping company that he has used in the past.
I am just waiting for my Bronco to be picked up in Tennessee and shipped over to Mark at Beach City Broncos to build my dream.
I am hoping to start a build thread that I will update info, the build and photos that Mark shares along the way and I am sure I will have a ton more questions for everyone here as we move along but I really wanted to take this time again and thank everyone here on the Classic Broncos forum for being so giving of your time and resources.
Lastly I am pumped to get this build done with Mark, his praises ring throughout this forum and his wok looks incredible.
All the best,
AJ (Supercmonkey)

Thanks guys. Here are a couple of pics of the 62 Suburban right before I sold it. Finished all the engine work on the 350, electrical work with Painless, added PS, brake booster, vintage air and so much more and was about to start paint and interior but it is such a massive beast it was going to be impossible to fit in the garage and I had a strong itch for a Bronco. ;)

Nice, but the bronco will be better in the end! We had a 56 Suburban in teal and white with a 4 wheel conversion in town a few years ago. That was a cool rig too. Personally I like all the old iron!

BajaFresh75 somehow finds all the best Broncos in the USA and sells them at great prices. He could be a millionaire if he choose to spray a cheap shinny paint job on each one and sell them for $25,000 instead of $10,000. His are great starters with never anything hiding. But he also wouldn't be respected as much as he is around here either if he did that. Good luck and that thing looks solid. Some people run from camo, but sometimes great Broncos can be found cheap with just 1 thin coat of camo over a straight body. Trust me, I would rather have that situation than a shinny paint jon hiding 7 other coats and bonds everywhere that has to be sanded off.

You prolly could remove all the camo with a gallon of lacquer thinner and a rag.

I have more questions than answers.
You did the 3 best things you could.

1. You bought from a reputable owner .

2. You are taking it to a quality shop.

3. You had them talk to each other.

Okay Bajafresh, ( Chris) I don't recall seeing that for sale in my state. Can you give me details, PM if you want.

Nice find and welcome.

Love the Suburban.

Congrats. And nice job doing all your homework before buying. A lot of people learn the hard way when buying these broncos.

Congrats' had a chance to meet Mark at Beach City Broncos and was very impressed. I'm sure he will do a good job for you. I saw some very nice projects he was working on.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement and support. Just got news and a picture that we are on the truck to San Diego!
I like my position above the Wrangler. ;)
