Re-installing them isn't bad but adjusting them can be a pain-in-the-ars. The few times I've done it on my 66 I've always been growling at myself when I re-install them asking myself, why?
2 cents...

Just curious! I have a Bikini top also for the first time this summer, Is it suppose to lift up when traveling down the road? The wind catches the top and lifts it. THe straps are secured to bedrail or should I move the fasteners lower? Thanks

What kind of adjustment is there on the window frames? My frames have six bolts and can only go back the way they came out... I remove them every year without issue

Nice looking Bronco.

I'd just paint the window frames blue! The biggest problem with no window frames and a bikini top is the top will tend to pull the ws frame back. The door frames help support the ws frame. I would recommend leaving the frames or installing supports from your roll bar to the ws frame if you decide to remove the door window frames. (It does not look like you have a front cage?) Every time you tighten the bikini top it will pull the frame back further.

You could drill a little alignment hole in the front and back, through the windows frame bracket. That way when you go to reinstall them its in the exact same place. Did that with my doors through the hinges and it is a great frustration saver

Odd there really is no adjustment with my frames I pop them out every year and when they go back in I just slide them down till the holes line up.... Which happens to be as far down as the frames can go. Windshield braces are recommended.

I run my straps down to footman loops on the wheel wells. Seems like a straighter shot than the bed rails would allow and the steeper angle allows for more tension.

Ok makes sense. I already cracked one of the plastic tie down brackets from over tightening the straps.

I made a brace from the roll bar to the WS frame. Right in the center

Keeps water from ponding up on the bikini top
