I got new seats for my Bronco!

I just finished installing my new (to me) seats. They are the vinyl recaro style that most vendors sell. I got them from my neighbor for $100. I made some custom 2 piece brackets to mount them to my existing cage mounts. They are 2 pieces of angle to make a z shape. The lower half bolts to the cage mounts and the upper half attaches to the seat bottom. I welded nuts to the lower halves to make unbolting them easy. Still have to remove the center console though.

Yes they are comfy. My old seats were cloth recaro style but these new ones have larger bolsters so they snug you in better. Going to have to get used to the vinyl though. Gets hot just sitting in the sun for even a few minutes. Maybe I will look into some neoprene seat covers.
