I made my own tube doors

I finally decided to try to make my own doors. I think they came out alright. I still have to try to figure out how i am going to latch them, i am thinking about using some kind of spring pin. here's the pics.

I'm going to make my own and use the striker and latch assembly from a Focus rear seat back. Both are easily removable and modern vehicles have to go through some rigorous luggage retention testing - so I know they will be strong enough. They even have a rubber bumper to dampen any vibration and a pull strap already attached.

thanks! It did take a bit of trial and error. Especially trying to figure out how to brace behind the door insert. But i got it figured out now. i will post pics when i get the latching done and get it painted.
