Hi everyone,

Check out this video to see the condition of the cowl:
Bronco Cowl Video

I have asked around plenty (in-person) and have not be able to find a body shop I trust to take care of some body work I want done on the Bronco. I am located in Jersey and was hoping I could lean on the forums for some suggestions.

I have a fully original, uncut tub with a nice patina. For a NE beach truck, I am pleasantry surprised in the overall condition. My most immediate item I need to address is a hole, in the cowl, right under the hood hinge. In fact, the cowl itself. The firewall itself is in solid condition. The floor pans as well. I do have competent welders I trust...just not to start potentially cutting and disassembling the Bronco. Preferably, I would like to use someone who through experience knows what they are doing when they are getting ready to surgically remove cancer.

This is a dying breed...but I found a legendary carb rebuilder (70+ years old) and the Bronco has never run better!

Lou at LAL customs - great work, in NY.
Amos - Bronco Barn around Lancaster, PA

Based on pics looks like you will find a lot more issues when you start digging into it.

Any tips to help me investigate on my own? I have dug fairly deep, without removal, and it appears mostly contained to up top. Firewall is solid. Floor pans solid. Kick panels good. Cross member supports/body mounts solid. Inner rockers solid. Strikes solid. Patch work for sure needed although the major pain points to my knowledge seem to be avoided.
