Hi,
I'm about installing body chrome trim with the clips kit.
Unfortunately I have to drill holes for the installation.

What I understand all the chrome besides the one on tailgate shouldnt be any bigger problem just the ordinary things which oftens happens.

According to the instructions I have, the tailgate trim should have two clips in each end which should be bolted in (between them push in clips with rivets).

Now the question, how could that be possible when there are'nt any chance to either attach a nut or reach it fro the backside of the tailgate.

Maybe I am stupid? :)

Sounds like you already answered your own question. The end clips drill through and have a nut you can get to from the edge with the tailgate open. The other ones rivet on.

Yep, I literally just did the same project. The two outside ones go towards the edge of the tailgate where you can still get to it. Just make sure you don’t get so close to the edge that the fly piece gets stopped by the edge of the chrome.
