Installing a Duff 3.5" Ultimate suspension lift, what tires will fit?

I have scanned threads for a few hours and can't seem to find a decent answer for my specific question. This week I'll be installing a 3.5" duff ultimate suspension lift on my 1970 uncut bronco. I have real small tires on it now and I'm looking to buy new rims and tires. I will NOT be cutting the rear fender wells. I do expect to do some moderate trails, nothing too extreme. So tell me, what size tire will fit this uncut bronco once it has the lift kit on it? If possible, can you tell me what size is the biggest that would NOT rub front or rear under any amount of articulation? ;D

I have the same J-D set up.31x10.5 tires on 7X15 rims fit nicely. I am using 10X15 rims W/ 3.5 back spacing and 31X10.5 tires the rims are to wide. I have seen Some on this site use taller tires up to 33''s. The problem is at full stuff the tire hits the front of the rear finder.

When I first did mine(3.5" uncut), I ran 32x11.5 bfg mudders. I only had to fold the lip up in the rear fender. It still looked great, stuffed well and left a smooth edge. You might have to trim a little on the bottom front of the front fender. Oh yea, I was using stock 15x7 full size bronco aluminum wheels.

I just went through the same thing and agonized the purchase. I have a new 3.5 Cage lift with new body mounts and an uncut bronco, that will not be cut. I put on 31x10.50x15 tires (BFG KM2) on 15x8 rims (MT Classic Lock) with 3 5/16 backspace. It does rub a little when you get it off-road, mostly on fender top, not front or rear of fender. Turning is fine with no loss of turning radius. I will not hit too many trails that will really need full-articulation so it is fine for me. I have hit several trails that require 4-wd and think it works fine. If you used 15x7 rims or smaller and this same tire size you would fine. If you use 30x9.50x15 tires on 15x8 rims I do not think you would rub at all unless really pushed it. In the end it really depends on what you are looking for - form or function. I can not post pictures but could take photos if you want me to email to you.

How'd you do?

Great, my rims are 15x7 with a 3.75 backspace. I'll try 31x10.5's and keep my fingers crossed! Thanks!

I was just doing some research on tire sizes and was wondering if you've put your tires on yet. If so, how do you like it?
