Aloha from Hawaii, new to the forum. have a 1969 bronco with a 302 v8.
I bought some fiberglass front fenders and was wondering if any of you have any advice for install. they seem to fit ok ,but it takes a lot of pressure to hold the top end of the fender to the front grill. dont want to crack them, any advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Do you have any photos? Fiberglass will not like being under tension. It will crack and stress relive itself. Good news is fiberglass is easy to customize to make something fit.

Can you bolt them on loosely front and rear and get a happy medium to reduce tension? Can you shim the rear out (and the door) to close the gap at the grill?

I will try loose fit and see how it goes. I only have the right fender off now, maybe when both are off the grill will be a better fit. try to send a pic when bolted on. Thanks for the reply!
