Any tips on rebuilding the adapter/intermediate housing? I've done the Dana 20 (T-shift) and need to rebuild the 3.03 trans, but I might as well tackle the adapter housing next.

In reading the shop manual, it just looks like you have to remove two snap rings, remove the shaft, remove the bearing, remove two seals, and reinstall with new seals and gaskets.

Thanks,

Scott

Ok, well the intermediate/adapter housing is done. Remove a lock ring, take the gear off. Remove another lock ring, bearing and shaft comes out. From there, drive the dual lip seal out (kind of a pain in the butt because of the placement). Clean and inspect parts, reassemble with new seal and new bearing.
