Is there still an EB market for Quadrajet carbs?

Years back, there was somewhat of a market for Quadrajet carbs on our EBs because of their off road capabilities.

I haven't heard of anyone using one in years.

I've got a couple of cores sitting on my workbench and am wondering if there's any market for them any longer here in the EB world.

I bought one for my '69 - it was a nicely done rebuild that had about an hour of run time - but I haven't installed it yet.

Anyway, I think there is a market, but these carbs are never going to bring a bunch of $ unless you have a rare one (Pontiac Ram Air Q-jets bring thousands!) Also, it's tough to find a decent spreadbore intake for a 289/302 so you end up having to run an adapter, which can create/exacerbate hood clearance issues.

Yes still using them, but not like in years past. Fitech, and the other quick EFI setups kind of stole the show away from the qjets for off road use. Still like mine though.

I am still running Qjets on both Broncos. They are simple to run. no sensor anxiety when out on the coastline miles away from any help..

Yep still use one on mine. Love it. Dead reliable. Never touched the settings in over 5 years. Flawless. Thinking changing the carb on my 78 to a Qjet. I love carbs. Like Mad said, nothing to leave you stranded if you have any mechanical skills at all.
