After me finding out the hard way that Jon's twin stick didn't fit a J-shift D20 and NV3550 he decided that perhaps it was time to build one. After several revisions and many pictures and packages between Oregon and California here are a few shots of the #3 prototype.

My hat is off to Jon who built this on just the third try from pictures and measurements and a whole lotta experience.

Yeah, he got carried away with the bends at the top but that why it's called a prototype.

That looks sweet! I agree with the bends being a little extreme but that can be fixed. I noticed you're in SLO, what color is your Bronco maybe I've seen it around or not if it's being rebuilt? I go to Cal Poly and have a green '69

not unless you are a 5th year senior :) It's been in parts in the garage for the last 3 years.
I might have seen yours, dull green, looks big and mean? I've seen a blue one, a red one, a cream color one, two yellow ones, and there used to be a spectacular uncut green and white one in town.

Haha not a 5th year senior.....yet%) Yea mine is ugly flat Olive Drab green, not too big though about 4" lift with 33's. The red one you've seen might be my roomates, 71 sport with the chrome trim, really cherry looking.

We did a short run of them yesterday.
We changed the bends as per your recomendations.
We left the drivers side straight, and the passenger side slighty bent.

Thanks for the thread.......

Jon will hopefully answer that but I believe the T-shift works with the 3550, that was what confused me in the beginning.

Our stock "T" type shifter will NOT work. the soulder bolt from the AA mount makes the ID and width of the pivot different from stock and the other models.
