I made this cool set of kick panel speakers today. I made the rear side panels last weekend but that was easy. These were a challenge with the roll bar! They are two pieces - a flat back panel that covers to strap for the door fits in behind the roll bar tube. Then there is a second part that actually holds the speaker. This part is curved and slips between the roll bar, bottom of the dash and the floor. They are a pretty tight fit but I think I may put a single screw in the top through to the bottom of the dash to keep them tight.

Super cheap too - I bought a full sheet of interior paneling for $10 and 5' X 5' wool covering for $35. Plus $20 in spray adhevise did the job. This was for the kick panels plus full panels in the rear were I installed 6X9 speakers.

I have an auto now so I am moving it over about 1". When I put the roll bar in left it bolted in the same place on the firewall but moved the front mount over about 1". Now I'll move the back mount - the cable should still reach or I will move that over 1" too. Just a hole in the floor. With a stick that would not work so well I but. I even removed the old pedal so I can't guess on a stick rig.
