Not much viewing from the highway but you get the picture..

On and off for about 3 weeks working in Hilton Waikoloa Villages on the big island on a BIG project trying to meet a tight schedule, 10 hour shifts, fly back home for the weekend and then back to Kona to start the workweek and a whole lot off overtime. We done flying now and I need to catch up on the jobs in Honolulu..

Too bad I didn't have my EB there but we really didn't have much R & R time to make fun wheeling. The first 2 weeks I had an Explorer 4x4 and this week got a Wrangler. Second week we had a chance to run a Lava trail to the beach and run along the coastline on the sand till it got dark. The sharp rocks will do nasty things to your tires there....

Just got back home yesterday and I'm still winding down.
I had to run Yellow77 (missed her) early this Thanksgiving morning to get groceries from the markets that are open today...

Here are the pics..
also a sunset pic from the jobsite as we were finishing off for the day..

I believe they are small rocks that are painted white and arranged to spell things out. I remember lots of them along the highway.

Yes, they are white coral rocks from the coastline that people use to spell out there names out the black Lava rocks...

There are so many white rocks spead out that all you need to do is go out there with a 5 gallon bucket, pick them up, find your spot with a good slope facing the highway and spell out your name, quote etc.

I thought of doing a "Classicbroncos.com" but we didn't have time to play.....%)
