L-Cross Extreme Events FL- anyone ever been there?

There is a mud event on the 15th-17th of Jan. Looks like they are trying to start up rally racing too.

Wondering if anyone has ever been to L-Cross. Would it be a fun Bronco muddin day? It is about 2 hours from my house, so it would have to get rave reviews for me to go in this weather.

I haven't been there, but know others who have. I'm sure there would be some entertainment value to be had, but I wouldn't consider it a trail riding place. Not sure about camping there. Personally, I would rather spend a day exploring new trails in a new area, but that's just me. If I lived close to something like that I would probably go watch and have a few brewski's there once in a while, but not if they wanted $50 to get in or anything like that. It's probably about 2 hours from my house here as well, but I wouldn't consider going unless I had time to burn. Why don't you check out the Bear Island area in Big Cypress and maybe some of us can hook up there this spring?
