Laser Cut Stainless steel dash overlay

I got my laser cut dash panel overlay from my buddy today. I originally tried to weld up the old dash stuff but it was too much for me with the warping and all. I am just looking to have a "dependable trail rig" anyway.

It goes from the steering column to the speaker grille. It is made from 14 ga. #4 polish type 430 Stainless.

It has holes for the Centech supplied ignition and washer/wiper switches, headlights, manual choke control, cigar lighter, fan switch, hazard light, DIN 1 size stereo opening.

Hopefully I will get the dash back from the powder coaters in time to get the wiring harness in before next weekend.

Jason

I'm going to powder coat the rest of the dash and glove box and ash tray. The stainless part will be left as polished.

What is the best car audio set-up for trail durability? Is anyone using a non CD player version with MP3 and radio HD Satellite or otherwise. I thought it might be less deep since it's kinda cramped back there.

Thanks,

Jason
