• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I have a friend from my time in the Marines who recently purchased a stock 89 Bronco. He says the steering is slow to respond when driving/turning, and his mechanic is telling him that he needs to replace the entire steering column. I am not sure this is the correct diagnosis, as it sounds more like a tie rod end or something related to the steering linkage.

Anyway, I was curious to know if there are any suggested mechanics in the Athens, GA area that he could take it to for a second opinion. Preferably someone familiar with these Broncos.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Rich
