I have a B&M transmission pan on my C4. I have replaced the cork gasket twice and it still leaks. I have been careful to not over-torque the bolts. Is it advisable to use Peratex on the gasket? If so, what color?

I feel your pain. I changed to a B&M pan to try and fix a leak and I am still having problems with it leaking. Good Luck.

cork sucks...
I started using a rubber gasket with a metal core, and no sealant.
no more leaks. I've even reused it after a fluid change, and it's still good.
I think it was a Fel-Pro.
