I'm cleaning up the '77 I just bought. I'm keeping it uncut and want all new suspension with a 2.5 inch lift.
What's your guys opinion on the best kit...Tom's, Wild horses, Bronco graveyard ???
It'll just be a cruiser...no serious 4 wheelin !

Thanks

I like Bronco Graveyard because you can get Deaver Springs through them. I have always liked the Deavers on all my trucks and Broncos. They have good quality travel and ride nicer thend some of the cheaper stuff. If I am not mistaken, I believe you can also get them through James Duff.

I would say whichever vendor is closest to you. I only have experience with James Duff and their rear springs are Deaver, but I don't believe they make a 2.5" anymore (not positive though).

I've got a 3" suspension lift from SkyJacker that's not bad, but if I was starting over I would do a 1" body lift and a 2" suspension lift. The body lift helps with accessing a lot of areas under the truck, gives more clearance under the hood, and makes several popular transmission swaps much easier. Also, having a lesser suspension lift minimizes changes to steering geometry, driveshaft lengths, and driveshaft angles.

I had a Sky jacker 2.5in soft ride kit on mine the rear springs rode way better than stock or my new BC 12 leaf rear springs. I broke a leaf in the skyjackers thats why I changed them out. If I hadnt broken a leaf I would still be running them. I also broke a stock leaf which is why I went with the lifted springs. One of these days I'll see if I can get a replacement leaf for the skyjackers.

That happened to me too. Skyjacker has a lifetime warranty, so I found a cooperative vendor and bought a new leafpack, then shipped back the old one and was reimbursed (except for shipping). The kicker was that Skyjacker wouldn't deal with me directly, only the vendor.

I would call the vendorr you hoose also. Let tem know what you have on the EB, winch, aftermarket bumpers, ect. The kit I got from Toms is high in the rear, even with no winch up front and a 32X11.5 rear spare tire on the back. Beyond that, the coils and springs are fine. I will get 3-1/2" front coils and leave the 2-1/2" rear springs in place to level it all out when I get a few more things finished.
