I came across this coating on the web and thought it be a good solution to some of the noise and heat issues of EBs. I called up the company and spoke to the inventor (Bob). He was a really nice guy and took time to answer all my questions and more. Anyone have any experience with this product? I know some have mentioned that they are going to be using it. I will be, too but I'd like to know if anyone has any long-term reviews on the stuff. Here's their website:

Haven't used it yet, but I will be one of the ones who will be in the hopefully not-so-distant-future. The sound issue and keeping heat in will be my main goal with the stuff. my brother in law has lizard skin all the inside of his 1966 buick but not complete yet don't know how well it works

I like how the lizard skin website shows the cost and install of deadening matting vs their product but there are no numbers showing db reduction or any kind of direct sound comparision.

What's time and money really worth if the cheaper/faster product cant boast the same db reduction as the adhesive matting.

"Reduce noise by 10-12 decibels or more" is what the normal Lizardskin product claims. The Lizardskin Sound Control - I would assume - provides even more dampening, but it does say how much more.
