Owner of local ford dealership ( who just wont sell me his awesome ‘73 ranger uncut. ) gets award for nice guy of the day. Took my F350 in for a service this morning. Went to go pick it up this afternoon. Getting in it I notice a 66-67 drivers door setting in the back bed. I ask where did this come from? Service manager says I should talk to owner. I confront owner. He says he knew I had a 66 and 67 and thought I could use it. Said he has had that sitting in loft in body shop since he got out of college about 35 years ago. Needed a good home.
Asked him how much? He said take it its yours.
Great solid no rust door. Like I said. Nice guy of the day award....

That guy is awesome! Nice score, you don't hear of things like this very often. Bronco folks are great people!

Very cool! I wonder what else he may have tucked away...?:?

'67 doors aren't super easy to come by in that shape!

Way off the subject but I saw a 64 continental for sale, but was missing one hub cap. Just so happens I had one. I stopped week later and was putting on his car.. Cops roll by and ask me why I am stealing hubcaps. Luckily the guy that lived there came out and said ‘wow a new hubcap’ cop didn’t buy my story at first. I really wasn’t looking for a Thanks or even have the guy know. But he thanked me for a solid and it seems I have been the recipient of great gestures since then

Great story 661Buster1965, and kudos to you for being a nice guy; not that many of us left! (Sort of kidding - I'm not fond of patting my own back)

I'm wondering - Why not mention the ford dealers name and address? I bet he'd get a card or twelve thanking him, and maybe even sell a car or truck as well.
