For those running EFI that have used this cable setup, did you have to use a return spring on the throttle body? I can't get the pedal to return after being depressed. I checked for binding and don't see or feel anything. Just appears as though the spring on the throttle body isn't strong enough to pull it back.

My bracket. Pulls from the rear.

Chief,
My BC throttle cable is installed per their instructions (routing, brackets, springs) and I still needed a return spring at the throttle body. Just be sure it isn't too strong or your leg will tire out quickly.

Can you shoot me a picture of what you did for a return spring?

One of the best ways to wear out the throttle shaft bore is to put the return spring on the opposite side of the shaft from the operating cable or rod. Best is when the spring is directly opposing the operating cable or rod and hooked to the same place as the cable or rod.

Not sure I'm following you here brother. Are you just saying the spring should be pulling from the front of the vehicle? Against the pull of the cable?

Yes.

If the spring is under the throttle shaft pulling towards the rear it looks super clean, but wears out the throttle shaft bore much, much faster.
