LATE '66 had 289 available.

well i mean not rust through just surface rust, last sand blasted and stopped working on it,,,,,yeah came out with a 289 but not it has a 302 w/3 speed,

no this is a late 67, the 289 engine code (N) but this one has a 302 now

Yes, the late '66's had a 289 available, then in the '69 model year, the 302 replaced the 289.
