Look what I found about 800 yards from my house!

So about 3pm this afternoon I get a text from one of my neighbors and it's a fuzzy picture of an old bronco. He then says it's about 800 yards from my house as the crow flys and the owner said he wants to sell it. So, I wait til he gets home to get directions and I head over.

I pull up and immediately see it's a 66. It's uncut with all original metal. Eyebrow grill. Correct lift gate. So the guys says he's had it 20 plus years and it was running well when he parked it for the last time. My wife needed to go to bible study so I only got to stay for 10 minutes so I didn't get to climb around much.

A few questions:
1. Are those the mythical unicorn 1966 hubcaps?
2. He said he'd take 2,000 for it and he seemed like he would take less. Seems pretty good right?!

But those are the elusive '66 only horse shoe emblems on the front fenders!

Looks like it was originally red. Might make for a nice stock restoration project.

Thanks for the replies guys! Man Those hubcaps are a thing of beauty!
I believe it was orginally red, would that be the calypso coral or maybe Rangoon red? The spare tire mount is homemade and I'm not sure about the rear bumper?

I'm definitely gonna try to get it. Just gotta figure out the details. Need to get the marti on it because I would like to put it back completely stock.

I will vaguely say that I'm in nw ark. But I will not reveal its location! Too many of you sneaky 66 lovers out there!

I figured AR with the Razorback user name................and I'd a gladly run over and picked that one up if you didn't want it :) And sadly, there are no Marti's for 66's............67' and up.
