Looking for cleaner license plate wiring harness

I'm looking for ideas on how to rewire the license plate harness.
I do not like the look of the wire coming out of the bottom of the tailgate. Pics would be great thanks

Look in my garage photos. My wiring is still there but it has braided wire loom ran through rubber grommets

I don't remember exactly how I pulled it through, but I ran Frank's inside the t/g.

Maybe I just drilled a hole in the side higher up.
