• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Hello everyone. I'm new to registration, although I've been watching and digging the site for the past year or so. Finally getting serious about finding a new project. Looking for a 71-75 or 6 running project, 302, 3 on the tree, wagon with top. Not afraid of a little rust, floors I know are a common problem. Don't want bad door posts or strikers. No frame rust. Part of the project is to learn how to do new stuff, right?;) (And maybe new tools!) Have gone to see a few on CL, some good, some bad. Don't want to drive too far, 200 miles or so. A little frustrated with what some view their "good" shape is worth.

price frustration

Welcome. I understand your frustration. I find I have to adjust my perception with regards to what broncos are going for. They are getting harder to find and in more demand. I purchased my first bronco 19 years ago. It would sell for 3 to 4 times what I paid. I bought another bronco last week, I got a good deal but not nearly the quality of my first. If we think the bronco market is tough to get into look at similar years of muscle cars. They are through the roof... A poor working stiff can't even afford to buy the car they may have owned in high school.
Just my two cents. Keep looking they are still out there just waiting.

checking cl and other avenues

Sprdv1,
Have driven over 700 miles to look at EB's in IA, SWMO, KS, NWMO and only came across one I made an offer on. He got another offer while I was looking at it, and I wouldn't go that high. It was probably worth it, like I've said before, learning experience. One I looked at I could have ripped down to the frame with my bare hands. Floor, qtrs, tailgate all rusted through and moving. Wanted $3500 for it. It did run and that was about it.

I have a 75 that might be what you are looking for. It is located in St. Louis, uncut auto,P/s.P/B . It does need some rust repair, but the doors & striker posts have been redone. You can send me your email address & I will send some pictures.
