Hi, i'm pretty much new to the early bronco business. i just bought a 74, 4.5" duff lift, rear block lift (that has to go, any ideas?), stroked 351, 44 front, big bearing 9" rear, 4.56's, locked rear, TH435, dana 20... pretty much mechanically sound except for a few things. but it needs some body work. i have been researching this site and because i'm new, it seems like you guys know quite a bit. i guess i'm just wondering for proper donor vehicle parts, i.e. hydroboost, powersteering pump uprades (i'm runnin 35's, do i need it?), disc brake conversions and the most practical ones. i know i can buy all this stuff online from WH or where ever, but thats why i want to know proper donor vehicles, so i can buy stuff from junk yards or whatever, and save some money.

any info would be greatly appreciated

hydroboost donors

Astrovan hydroboost units are the most plentiful. Nearly every other one at the pick-a-part has one. Mine clears the upper Explorer plenum with little mounting modification, rotated 180 degrees. See pic.

you'll also need the chebby backing plates from a chev 72-76 1/2 ton 4x4 or k5 blazer (new ones available, but the tooling is getting old - mine needed a little help from mr. grinder to work). Tons of info if you do a search for disc conversion
