VA Lower Drivers door hinge post

Anyone have a lower door hinge post say one inch above bottom hinge in good shape ...Mine Is Rusted out bad but everything above it is good ...I hate to replace the whole post ..

I bought new left and right posts and cut the bottom 8 or so rotted inches from the originals and welded in same from new posts. It wasn't too bad. Not the only way to go but retained a ton of dimensions
