I'm going to be restoring my '76 shortly and I'm planning on a 2.5" suspension and 1" body lift and wanted to see what everyone was running with similar setups. It'll be a daily driver rig with some trail riding.

Also, as a side note that is sort of related, will a 1" body lift be enough to clear an NV4500 and a 4BT?

Jeep may have had a similar style but that style also came factory on some F-150's.

I'm running a 2.5SL and a 1"BL. My wheels are dodge steel 17" with 4"BS tires are 265x70x17 KM2's. Fits perfect looks great. The only rub is at full lock on the radius arm but I think a 1/4 spacer will solve that issue.
I think the size converted is about a 32x10x17

2.5" suspension lift from WH, no body lift. No clearance issues for 31" tires or EFI.

I've got the same lift you're talking about, with 16 X 7" steel wheels. 4" backspacing. I have a set of 9-32 X 16 Swampers, and a set of 265/75 X 16 Treadwright Guard Dogs on the same type wheels.

Both work fine, but I moved the rear axle back 3/4" to keep from hitting the front edge of the rear fenders.

With the steel 16" wheels with 4" backspacing there's plenty of clearance for 1976 Bronco disk brake calipers and tie rod ends. Can't help you with the 4BT question.

Lubr

I decided on 3 1/2"sl and 1" bl
I run 255/85/16 (33.3x10x16)
Does not rub on full suspension flex and no body modifications done.

Wish ya luck

That is my regret I didn't go 3.5 SL with my 33s or buy 31s sor my 2.5 SL I have a 1inch BL

I am actually now buying a 3.5 lift to fix this situation... I like the clearance on the rear of your bronco

I just finished installing a 3.5" sl and 1" bl on mine but the tires aren't back on it yet because I'm finishing up several other upgrades at the same time. I had the same setup on this orange 77 several years ago with 33x10.5's and wheeled it with no issues.

The setup that Berg Bronco has is also the same as what Nick (nick's Trix) uses.
2.5" WH SL with no BL and 33's. Check them out on his site. If I wasn't running close to 34's it's what I'd be going with instead of 3.5" SL.

The most important part of fitting tires on a LUBR is wheel backspacing/offset. That's why the 17" dodge wheels fit so well. I've seen 33x12.5's on stock steelies that clear with 3.5" SL. I've also seen 17x9 with 285's tuck no problem because the wheels had 5.5" of BS. Cleared the rear stock shock mounts but I'm pretty sure he had to limit the turning radius so it wouldn't hit the radius arms. I'm running CAGE arms for more turning clearance. I thought my 18x7's with 4.5" BS would clear my rear inner quarter lip but because my tires are just over 11" wide I need another 1/4" BS on the wheel, or I can trim out my inner lip in the wheel well. With a 10.5" wide tire they'd fit with no issues. Anything is possible it's just how much do you want to do to make them fit.

Actually I first started liking this setup when my buddy Millknob ran something similar on his 69 but Nicks builds confirmed that was what setup I wanted!
