Any chance folks with this combo can post some photos of the transmission tunnel and where the shifters end up? It will be a while until I am ready to install this combo, but I just finished installing new floor pans including the tunnel and I am curious to see what I'm in for.

had this set up but since change to zf , shifter came up under the dash right where one cross member was . Cut up pieces for the trans and for t-case ,mount it high as i could 1" body lift would help lots . No pics but you ever come out to the valley could show you what had to do .

There are three different shifter tops for the M5. Search on here for that and you'll see some pics of them. I had the middle version from my 97 F150 M5 but I found one that moved the shifter farthest back and it's about in the center of the tunnel just behind the floor support. I had to machine the shift forks a little. It it works. I'll post up some pics tomorrow. I also did the twin stix to my 205 and made my own custom shift levers. I'll get you some pictures.

Thabks, Agboy91. Photos of your setup would be great. I've got the transmission cover plate with the shifter in the front, but plan on swapping cover plates as well. What machining did you have to do?

This is late furthest back shifter location of the M5OD. D20 with modified t shift handle and mounting. With this setup and 1" BL I just touch the weld flange on the rear of the front brace with the hole. I had body off so you may need to cut hole further to back or remove shift stub to stab trans in with body on.

Farthest back shifters come from 97-2004 4.2 V6 f150's.
Mine has a 2" BL and hole was cut to get shifter in with body on.
Not sure where your transfer case shifter will land as I'm running the D20.
