Macbook to run my Optishift?

Time to fine tune my Optishift but all I have is an Apple Macbook. I can't seem to find a way to run the software (looks like it is only PC based). Thought about possibly buying one of those $100 tablets with a USB port but not too sure if that would work either. Anyone else find a way to get an Apple product to run the Optishift?

You could run a virtual machine on the Mac and load windows on it. It would open windows like an application and you can then use optishift without buying more hardware. A couple of options are VMware fusion, parralles and others.

Download virtual box, its a free virtual machine. Runs just as well as the $50 programs, and supports all the popular operating systems.

Thanks guys. Trying VMware now. Will see how it works.

VMWare is great, I use it everyday but honestly if you are only running a single app you can get away with running Virtual Box, it's free and works well:

Also not that I recommend doing this full time, but if you want to make sure it all works before you buy a bunch of licenses, you can download one of Microsofts VM's for testing IE compatibility that web developers use, and install the software on that. This will allow you to test that all the drivers work before you go out and purchase a windows licence.

If it does not need to be the absolute newest Windows, rather than a cheap new tablet why not pick up a used laptop off of Craigslist?
You are likely to find one with Windows 7 pretty cheap.
Better to have a real keyboard.
