Alright guys, i'm from Alabama and am currently living in MI for the summer..now, that being said, everything from spaghetti O's to gas is more expensive here, and....so are the machine shops.. I got a quote from an Automotive Machine in Fraser (detroit), and they are pretty dang high compared to what i can get "Bubba and Darrel" to do in alabama...haha anyone have any good machine shops that they recommend in the Lavonia and Detroit area that are not too Expensive?? Just looking for basic engine block boring/honing and degreasing, and turning the crank and polishing it..and pressing my connecting rods on to the bearings.. Thanks.

give Jeff's a call and see what they have to say. I'm willing to bet that they would set you straight. Broncolove, is usually on top of that kind of stuff down in that area also
