My super Duty hydroboost external push rod is too long for most of the disk/drum mcs that i have looked at. I realize that I could grind it down or add a spacer but is there a better fit disk/drum mc where the push rod would fit better.

yep your bronco MC would work
take the pressure residual valve out of the reservoir serving the disks and away you go.

Thanks TOFIC, I sold my original with the Vac Booster. So I'm looking for another MC. Will the Astro Van MC fit or will I need to modify the pushrod?

I also have a 2001 Ford Explorer MC off a 5.0 AWD that fits perfect. Could I get away with adding a pressure residual valve for the rear?

Yes, you can add an aftermarket 10 psi residual pressure valve to the rear circuit if you use a disc/disc master cylinder without any such provisions.

The Explorer MC looks exactly like the one in the picture minus the pressure residual valve. When I add the vave do I install it before or after the rear line comes out of the proportioning valve?
