Mastercraft Baja RS seats - how high are they?

Thinking about upgrading seats. I'd like to go with suspension seats that recline, which seems to mean I'm looking at either Corbeau or Mastercraft ("Baja RS" model in both cases). Found a surprising number of reviews saying Corbeaus break or get floppy over time, but everyone seems to love their Mastercrafts, so that might be the winner.

So, the question is: when you use Mastercraft's Bronco-specific brackets, how high do they sit off the floor? Obviously I'm looking to keep them low so I'm not constantly looking at the windshield frame.

Also, how does the Mastercraft passenger side bracket deal with the odd, low floor level on that side? I have the Wild Horses floor storage thing that makes the floor flat on that side, so wondering if I'm better off with two driver side brackets?

Thanks

You'd be better with two drivers brackets. Mastercraft uses a ford like raised bracket for passenger side.

I have the mastercraft Baja, the lowest seat I could find at the time, I'd get a measurement but it's snowing between me and the garage:)

I'm 6'1", I look just below the wiper motor cover, I have to bend to see the stop light if I'm close to the intersection. But I do have a good 6 inches to the hardtop headliner and my head.

Love my Mastercraft Baja RS seats. The fronts sit ~8" off the floor.

Thanks, guys!

@gr8scott, is your tuffy console mounted directly on the floorboards, or did you use the spacers they provide (I guess about an inch higher)? Trying to use it in your photo to judge seat height vs. my current junkyard seats. I have the exact same tuffy console and used the spacers.

Directly on the floorboard, no spacers.

I have the Baja RS seats in my Jeep. I spend a lot of off road hours in it and they are really good for that if you wheel a lot.

Thanks for the intel! Here in CO I won't be wheeling again until May/June, but good to know I have to get them ordered now!

EDIT: There's actually a place called raceplumbing.net (aka Dan Hellmer Racing Solutions) that actually claims to have 7 of each in stock. That's just the simplest black on black, I didn't check any other color combos. Anyone ever done business with them before? They don't have the Bronco brackets, though. Summit has it all, but is quoting a 3/29/21 ship date, so about 2 months out.

Thanks, I was wondering if that was possible. Are there just two bolts per slider? I know the selling point of the Bronco specific brackets is that they pick up the stock mounting holes on the floor, but I have no qualms about making mods to the floorboards. Obviously I can go direct like you did, or would it be fairly simple to just fab my own simple brackets to make them the height I want?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see what you mean, the sliders you speak of are what Mastercraft calls the brackets, right?
