Max Tire Size

I just finished my 3.5" suspension lift and I'm about to add my 2" body lift. My question is what is the max size tire I'll be able to cram under there. I'm fine with cutting the fenders as I realize I'll probably have to do this to fit anything over 33".

I'm really hoping to fit a set of TSL/SX 36x12.5.16.5 that I'm about to get a great deal on.

Anyone running 36's with 3.5"SL and 2"BL?

Really? I just assumed there wasn't any way I was fitting 36" tires under the back fenders without cutting them.

You will have to trim a little in the front and a fair amount in the rear. If you are all street then the front may not need much at all. Offroad you will be able to make those 36" tires rub no matter how much you trim. My 35s will compress and rub the inner fenders right at the floor board and I have around 5" of lift.

In the rear I had to trim the flare at the front near the bottom because it hit hard... broke one flare in that area.

Personally... I run 35s and wouldnt go any bigger... If I could go back a few years I might have stopped with 33s and set it up to run those. Past that now... I would have to regear to go back. I just feel like 33s are better for everyday driving. 35s can get old after a while on the road. It all depends on how and where you drive I guess.

I am more into just enjoying the Bronco as a weekend cruiser and not so much into wheeling anymore.

Mine will mostly be just a weekend road cruiser with some time on the trails and in the mud at the hunting camp. I originally planned on setting it up for 35's but I just got such a good deal on these 36" TSL I couldn't pass them up. It's nice to hear that a ton of fender trimming won't be needed though.
